Fundraising Banquet - Sept 21, 2024!
All of our amazing supporters are invited to our fund gathering banquet at the Obetz Community Center, 1650 Obetz Avenue, Obetz, OH 43207, on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 6:30pm (doors open at 6pm). Dave Phalen, former Sheriff of Fairfield County, will be our guest speaker. Our theme will be “From the Prison to the Palace” based on the life of Joseph in Genesis 40-41. The dinner menu includes chicken, pasta, side dishes, and desserts.
We are still looking for individuals, churches, and businesses to sponsor the banquet. We are also looking for table hosts that can invite people to fill an 8-person table. All those interested in being a sponsor or table host can contact Janice Howdyshell at 740-475-8306 or jbhowdyshell@yahoo.com. Walk-in guests are welcome to
attend the banquet, but we do encourage you to inform Janice of your attendance

Silent Auction - Spring 2025!
We are in the planning stages of a silent auction in Spring of 2025. Since this is a new type of fundraiser for us, we need your help in gathering items for the auction. If you are a business owner, this is a great way to advertise your business by providing an item or service for our auction. For example, you could donate gift cards or services relating to landscaping, cleaning, painting, photography, music, spas, or hair care. Individuals could donate items like paintings, quilts, sports tickets, OSU jersey/memorabilia, skin/hair care items, gardening items, necklace/earrings/jewelry, purse/handbag, gift cards to stores/restaurants, or musical instruments. If you have a rental property or vacation home, you could donate time there. The possibilities are endless. Just use your imagination!

Fundraising Banquet - Sept 23, 2023!
We praise the Lord for a successful fundraising banquet held at the Obetz Community Center on September 23, 2023. Radio host Bob Burney delivered an encouraging message as our guest speaker, Linda Glenn gave a testimony on the four Good News Clubs she coordinates in the Pataskala area, and Laura Gardner provided an update on the various ministries in our Chapter. The 94 attendees were blessed with a delicious meal prepared by Debbie Copeland’s catering team. This fundraising event raised nearly $7,800 to help reach more Central Ohio children with the Gospel.
Thank you to all who attended the banquet, and a big thanks to our table hosts who invited your guests. We greatly appreciate all who support us with your prayers and finances. We are already preparing for our 2024 banquet!
